This policy explains how JLM Painting Services (“we”, “us”) handles personal information. We trade as a sole trader, not a limited company, providing painting and decorating services across Worcestershire, Shropshire and Herefordshire.

Property address and details of the painting job
Any other information you choose to send us

We do not run advertising cookies or Google Analytics on this website.

Why we use it

We use this information to:

Reply to enquiries and provide quotes
Arrange and carry out painting work if you hire us
Keep records we need to run the business (for example invoices and job notes)

The legal bases we rely on are taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a contract if you hire us, and our legitimate interest in running a painting business and keeping records.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your details. We only share them with the services that make the website and email work:

How long we keep it

Enquiry details are kept for as long as needed to deal with your request. If you become a customer we keep job and contact records for as long as we reasonably need them for the work, invoicing and any follow-up — usually no more than six years after the job, unless the law requires longer.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, or to restrict how we use it. To do that, use the contact details above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
